Our Purpose

The Emerging Leaders Council provides leaders between the ages of 21 and 40 of all professions valuable experiences to connect, learn, and become civic leaders. The ELC creates connections, both peer-to-peer and with industry leaders, on a business and personal level. We work to foster a greater understanding of civic and economic issues impacting the Dallas area to develop the strong future leaders for our community. The ELC is focused on impacting our community through service, business growth, and friendship.

Emerging Leaders Council

NDCC Emerging Leaders Council has provided a platform to engage with members and non-members of diverse backgrounds both culturally and professionally. It has not only equipped professionally with quality networking and skill building but also on a personal level with its passion for the community through nonprofits and city legislation. My time with the NDCC Emerging Leaders Council has been a blessing!

ELC has given me the opportunity to grow in leadership roles that would not have otherwise been offered to me so early on in my career. It has also allowed me to meet people from many different industries and organizations giving me the confidence in referring my clients within the North Dallas community.

I could not have expected that I would have been able to gain so many different things from just being a part of this one organization – it has truly opened many doors for me professionally and personally.
