Wednesday, September 6, 2017, 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Presidents of three major public universities will discuss how they are preparing students for the workforce and how they are partnering with the business community to meet their future needs.
Speakers are Richard Benson, President, The University of Texas at Dallas, Ray Keck, President, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Neal Smatresk, President, University of North Texas and moderator Peter Balyta, Vice President, Academic Engagement & Corporate Citizenship, Texas Instruments.
Monitors activities of Dallas City Council, Dallas County Commissioners Court and Texas Legislature. Activities include recommendations for position statements by chamber, recruitment of chamber members for city and county board and commission openings and sponsorship of candidate debates. Meets at the call of the committee co-chairmen.

Every year, North Dallas Chamber members throughout the city of Dallas host a toy drive for Santa Cops of Dallas, a program designed to assist members of the community who have been victims of crime.
