Texas Health Aetna Introduces New Market Head of Sales and Service

(ARLINGTON, Texas) Texas Health Aetna, the partnership between Texas Health Resources and Aetna, a CVS Health Company (NYSE: CVS), announced the promotion of Christina Rassi as market head of sales and service for middle markets in the North Texas area.

Rassi will transition from a senior sales executive at Aetna into her new role where she will be responsible for profitable growth within the middle market segment and augment growth for Aetna and Texas Health Aetna. Rassi joined Aetna in 2007 and has since leveraged her dedication and expertise as a sales professional within the middle market and national accounts segments. Her new responsibilities will include building and cultivating relationships with brokers, consultants, and various distribution channels as well as providing performance management of the health plan products’ performance and ensuring overall client satisfaction.

“Christina has dedicated more than ten years of her career with Aetna, and we are so fortunate to have her as part of our team,” said Jeff Cook, regional president for Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico for Aetna. “Christina’s experience has allowed her valuable insight into the overall challenges facing employers, including workforce retention and employment, affordability, and access to care. This insight is one of many reasons Christina provides meaningful solutions to her clients and is an asset to Aetna and Texas Health Aetna.”

Prior to joining Aetna, Rassi worked at Holmes Murphy & Associates where she served as a voluntary national practice leader in the consulting field of Texas markets. Within this role, she was responsible for the growth and development of the client’s coverage needs, as well as aiding clients in identifying gaps in coverage while supplying necessary tools to educate employees. Her exposure across the healthcare continuum for more than 15 years has provided her with industry insight and strong local relationships with brokers and consultants, as well as plan sponsors and peers. This experience and her ties to the local market support Rassi’s ability to bring stability and credibility to the Dallas market in her new role.

“I am beyond excited to continue my journey with the Aetna family in this new endeavor as market head of sales and service,” said Rassi. “Health care is complex, and this new role will allow me to deepen relationships with my clients and provide personalized solutions that are simple, cost-effective and will ultimately improve the quality of life for their employee population.”

Rassi has been a Dallas resident for more than 20 years. In addition to her work, Rassi has a passion for traveling to new places, spending time outdoors, running and spending quality time with her family.
