Exciting News from the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce
2021 will mark an exciting change for the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
It will mean improved access, enhanced visibility, and the opportunity to better serve our members and community.
Upon careful consideration by our Board of Directors and many real estate, banking, legal and accounting experts among our membership, we sold the property at 10707 Preston Road and are in the process of selecting a new location for the Chamber.
After 42 years at Preston and Royal, one tornado that destroyed our building, and multiple offers from prospective buyers, we decided that it was time for a new chapter. This move will provide the room to grow that we need, along with a multitude of other benefits for members. We’ll be able to host more events, have a visible presence in a high-profile location, and ultimately, improve upon our mission to make Dallas a better place to live, work, raise a family and build a business.
As part of that legacy, we continue to be grateful for the companies and individuals who supported our previous building capital campaign, and our donor wall recognizing them will be recreated in our new space. Many thanks also to the NDCC Executive Committee and Board of Directors, the ad hoc real estate committee and all of the expert advisors among our membership who have helped in the thoughtful and strategic consideration of this next step for our chamber.
Our ad hoc real estate committee selected Site Selection Group to serve as our broker in assessing the market, and we are close to making a decision about which building we will occupy. Our target date to move in after tenant improvements is in July, which will hopefully be a time in which we can once again host in-person events.
Stay tuned for our new office reveal this summer!
